The ambiance of the restaurant was great and the service was great/ The quality of food for the price you pay, however, was a little disappointing.
My husband and I visited during the Resturant week, and we both loved the food which was great, ambiance and the service which was excellent.
Will certainly go back again.
From start to finish Clico was truly lovely. We were welcomed in by the security guard who was so friendly, he wished us a good evening more times than I could count.

The restaurant is small and intimate and beautifully decorated with neutral tones and lilies on the tables. The heatwave and lack of air con did make it a bit unpleasant but, a minor negative in an overall beautiful place. The service was excellent with the waiters being very friendly and precise ... asking for a few minutes between meals wasn’t good enough the wanted to know what exactly how many minutes and brought the next course out at exactly that many minutes. Starters was a lovely, spicy tomato soup paired with a rose wine, followed by Midlands trout with avo and cream cheese. This was great given the hot weather. Oh and it was served with a truly beautiful butterscotch tasting Chardonnay. Mains was a lamb fillet on the bone which was presented beautifully and was very tender. Lastly for my favourite course, dessert was a chocolate sponge stacked with banana, a chocolate mouse, a delicious custard filling and topped with a chocolate disk. The only downer was the sponge was a touch dry. Overall a truly lovely evening. Oh and on the way out the guard insisted that we stand no further than 1cm from the gate where he could keep a close eye on us. He was a gem and really was the cherry on top.
A bit too intimate. The sitting was way too close to each other.
Cuisine was interesting and flavorful. However some the dishes felt prepped (freezing cold plate) especially for a small crowd like that.
The ambiance was amazing (music and lighting).
Service was initially slow. I set for a while before being tended to.
My GF and I celebrate all our special occasions at Clico. I now have a great appreciation and special spot for Clico, I love that the service staff always remember us. On this occasion we did the food and wine pairing. The wine pairing was exceptional and amazing as always. However, the sponge cake that was served with dessert was dry.
