We visited Prosopa for restaurant week. Dino, the owner, presented us with the amuse bouche, and it was by far the best we had during restaurant week. The snail starter was really good. Unfortunately we were let down by the main course. I had a very dry and tough rib-eye steak. My husband had the lamb kleftiko, which came still wrapped in foil. For dessert, we had the mousse, which was absolutely delicious. I was impressed by their excellent per glass wine selection. Their servers are knowledgeable and friendly, and I like it when the owner takes an interest in his clients.

Although we didn't have the best first experience at Prosopa, I will be back for the excellent meze and wine selection.

Prosopa is really cozy that welcomes a sense of familiarity. The service was very prompt and provided great knowledge of the food, along with great recommendations. Owner and waiters were very friendly. The food was exceptional and very tasty. Portions were more than satisfying, adding value for money.
Will definitely recommend Prosopa!

Absolutely wonderful experience, food was delicious. The lamb was mouth-watering and the rooibos creme brûlée an absolute delight. Service was excellent and the ambience a delight. Absolutely nothing sub par at this fabulous restaurant.

We were extremely impressed with the variety on the menu - there is something for every taste bud! The food and the flavours were absolutely amazing! Loved the restaurant, the atmosphere, the food and the service! Thank you to Prosopa and their staff for giving us an awesome experience!

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

At most restaurants, you can make reservations for free and cancel them without any charge. You'll settle the bill when you dine at the restaurant. However, some restaurants may request a small deposit, and they will send a prepayment request via Dineplan to confirm your reservation.

4. Are drinks included in the menu price?

In most deals, drinks are not included.

5. How can I change my reservation?

7. Is cancellation free?

Yes, you can always cancel for free.

If you have made a prepayment via Dineplan, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation. The amount you paid in advance will be automatically refunded to your account. Refunds through Dineplan should be resolved in communication with the restaurant, and we are not directly involved in this process.

8. Until when can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.

9. What is Restaurant Week South Africa?

During Restaurant Week South Africa, you can indulge in a fabulous 3-course dinner at over 140 of the finest restaurants in South Africa, starting at ZAR 295.00 per person. Restaurant Week South Africa is held twice a year, in Autumn and Spring.
