We keep returning to oneNINEone time and time again and we are never disappointed!

I started off with the braised octopus which was so much fun and wasn't what I was expecting at all! The octopus and fish was hidden underneath a smooth curtain of squid ink pasta that I had to pull back to reveal the theatre! The combination of flavours and textures in the dish left me wanting more, but I had to leave space for the remaining courses.

For mains, I had Pork Belly and Cheek which was melt-in-your-mouth divine! Belly and cheek are always a weakness of mine and, when crafted to perfection like this dish was, its a definite winner!

I ended things off with the violet "pot", which looked stunning in terms of its presentation and, I'm happy to say, the taste was even better!

If you haven't had the privilege of dining at oneNINEone yet, then do yourself a favour and go! You will not be disappointed and it will be a culinary experience to remember!

On Saturday evening I enjoyed dinner with my parents, fiancé and sister. We (my fiancé and I) decided to treat my family to a dinner. The lady who served us was incredible - friendly, had a good attitude, laughed at our silly jokes and accommodated my dad who is a very fussy eater and avoids dairy but eats ice cream. The chef happily amended where he could and we had a good evening. However I do think ambiance needs work - it was very quiet and empty. I think there were only 3 tables occupied. And the food as lovely as it was I expected more since we were there for restaurant week. I expected the food to be a true experience and unfortunately it wasn’t the case we simply ate good food and went home. Thank you

Our experience was unfortunately a disappointment after the previous reviews we had seen. The restaurant was very empty and with it being the best restaurant in the past we expected a few more people being a Friday night. The service was also unfortunately very poor, our waitress could not read our menu to see which wine we were ordering and then when it arrived to taste they poured it into my Husbands water. We also had to refill our wine glasses most of the time.
The food was good however not stand out and I don’t think we would go again.
