Had a wonderful evening at Jardine’s. Food was out of this world and the service world class. Portions were well sized and perfectly timed between courses. Will definitely be frequenting them again. The mussels are a total winner

I knew I was in for a special day when I received my personalised menu, and I was not disappointed (and even ordered additional courses). The baked organic golden beets, Gorgonzola rarebit, basil pesto, herbed gnocchi and baby cos melted in the mouth, and the crunch of the cos completed the tasty mouthful. The smoked potato that accompanied the aged Chalmar sirloin was like a cloud - I have never had anything quite so light and sublime. Cannot even call it fluffy! The house salad with pickled onions and pumpkin seeds has inspired me to try and replicate it (rice wine vinegar, I think). I sat outside and peacefully watched the world go by in this university town under the Oak trees. The service was attentive and not overbearing. Cannot wait to go back.

Jardin is a must, and fantastic value for money on the Restaurant week deal. The food was delicious, and the seting in Stellenbosch’s vibey centre wonderful!

Restaurant Jardine was founded by George & Louise Jardine in 2016.

Since 2022 the Restaurant is co-owned and managed by Executive Chef Hilde-Lee Olivier who has worked at Jardine since 2018.

A focus on seasonal flavors showcases local, organic produce on a ever changing menu, which tempts with sublime combinations

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

At most restaurants, you can make reservations for free and cancel them without any charge. You'll settle the bill when you dine at the restaurant. However, some restaurants may request a small deposit, and they will send a prepayment request via Dineplan to confirm your reservation.

Yes, you can always cancel for free.

If you have made a prepayment via Dineplan, you can cancel up to 24 hours before your reservation. The amount you paid in advance will be automatically refunded to your account. Refunds through Dineplan should be resolved in communication with the restaurant, and we are not directly involved in this process.

8. Until when can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your reservation online up to 8 hours in advance, or by phone up to 1 hour before your reservation time. However, we kindly request that you cancel as soon as you know you won't be able to make your reservation.
