Excellent cuisine.
Service a bit slow/inexperienced.
Lovely evening! Staff were accommodating as we requested a slight menu change. Menu had a good variety of flavours and textures. Food was plated beautifully. We were made to feel warm and conformable and it was great to meet and talk to the chef who did more than engage in quick chit chat. Would definitely go back!

Confirmed on the day with the woman who confirmed booking and dietaries - was assured would have something spevial. Ordered 4th course just to give them something to add a candle into. No candleso I thought a special token dessert would come with candle but nothing came. That was very dissapointing. Kudos to the chef - too bad restaurant management not at your level.

The cuisine was 'fine dining', essentially a tasting menu. It was really well put together and the 3-courses we opted for were perfect for us. None of the options were 'overdone' in terms of tastes, which is something I've found can be a problem on tasting menus. There was also an option to take a 4th course at an extra R80, but we declined. Service was very good and the wine list is reasonably broad, with a few reasonably-priced options if you want to keep the final bill down.
Overall a very enjoyable experience. We will probably want to come back with some friends. This was the 3rd restaurant we've visited so far in Restaurant Week. In our books, it comes in a very close second behind Piccolo Mondo and well ahead of Pigalle. Two more to go!

The food was amazing and of course the venue is just gorgeous. My mom and I had the roast duck and my sister had the sea bass. We all enjoyed our dishes. We sat in the patio, overlooking the pool area. I would definitely go back but not every day, because it is a bit pricey. Great for family lunches/dinners and special occasions.
